CALL FOR PRESENTERS
Are you interested in being a part of the Florida American
Sign Language Teachers Association’s 2010 Annual Conference? FASLTA is seeking
proposals for creative, exciting, and informative conference workshops that
will broaden horizons, enrich experiences, and challenge participants. The
theme of the Conference is “New Frontiers” and will be held in
West Palm Beach, Florida. We are expecting 100+ participants to be in attendance
and would like to invite you to join us, February 12th-14th, as we continue
to explore the practice of teaching ASL. Participants at our annual conferences
include Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and hearing individuals from Florida as well
as other states who are currently teaching or interested in ASL instruction
for foreign language, interpreting, or personal interest. All participants
are expected to be fluent in ASL. All workshops will be conducted in ASL
without voice interpretation. ASLTA professional development points and RID
CEUs will be provided to participants. So are you interested? You are invited
to submit a workshop proposal which fits into our theme, "New Frontiers.” The
list below is not inclusive of all possible topics, we welcome your ideas
as well. You may submit more than one proposal, however please be sure to
use a separate form for each workshop. The deadline for submission
is November 30, 2009.

Conference registration is required for all presenters. You may register
at the PREMIER conference rate. All presenters are responsible for their
